Dave Russell's Christmas tree Farm is open on weekends, from November 25 to Christmas.
Open 10:00 to 4:00 on Saturday and 12:30 to 4:00 on Sunday. Weekdays by appointment.
Located on Rt. 116 we are easy to find. Only 20 miles from Burlington, Vermont.
The farm has been in the family since 1940. Dave and Janet took over the farm in 1970 and started planting Christmas Trees several years later. They have been selling Christmas Trees for over twenty five years. With the intention of keeping the farm in the family, they usually plant new trees every year.
The Russell farm is a typical Vermont farm with dairy cows, and a variety of other animals that you will find on a traditional farm.
Bring your children to see the baby bunnies, pigs and calves.
Enjoy some time on a real Vermont farm.
Meet our team of horses, Tony and Tom. Then ride up to cut your tree, in a horse drawn wagon or sleigh. Bring a picnic and relax by the pond. If it is a cold Day, come inside the cabin, and warm up by the fireplace.
We have some of the nicest Balsam Fir Christmas Trees, just waiting for you.
The Balsam Fir is the tree with the fragrance that smells like Christmas.
